Acquisition of work vehicles for operational management and maintenance - stage 1

Description

El Salvador has received financing from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) to partially cover the cost of the "Universal Energy Access Program in El Salvador." This call for International Public Bidding (LPI), managed by the Lempa River Hydroelectric Executive Commission (CEL), invites eligible bidders to submit closed bids for the supply of vehicular goods.

Scope of the offer
Objective of the acquisition: Supply of work vehicles to support operational management and maintenance tasks in their first stage.

Regulatory framework: The contracting process will be guided by the International Public Bidding (IPL) procedures described in the IDB's policies for the acquisition of goods and works.

Presentation modality: The proposals of the interested parties must be delivered strictly in physical and closed format, since reception by electronic means will not be enabled.

Qualification and Selection Requirements
Evaluation criteria: The technical, legal and financial requirements required to participate are specified in Section III ("Evaluation and Qualification Criteria") of the tender specifications.

National preference: Unlike other international processes, in this tender a Margin of Preference will be granted to contractors or Associations of Suppliers and Contractors (APCA) of national origin.

Sustainability of the offer: All bids submitted must include a Declaration of Maintenance of the Bid as a guarantee of the seriousness of the process.
