Acquisition of vehicles for institutional strengthening

Description

El Salvador has received financing from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) to partially finance the cost of the project "Shock-Responsive Social Protection in El Salvador". This call for International Public Bidding (IPL), managed directly by the Ministry of Finance, invites eligible bidders to submit closed bids for the supply of vehicular goods.

Scope of the offer
- Goods required: Supply of 4x4 double cab pick-up vehicles for institutional strengthening work.

- Regulatory framework: The process is carried out in accordance with the International Public Bidding (IPL) procedures established in the IDB's policies for the acquisition of goods and works.

- Presentation modality: Proposals must be submitted in a strictly physical way. Bids by electronic means will not be permitted and any late delivery will be rejected.

Qualification and Selection Requirements
- Specific commercial experience: Prove a minimum of three (3) copies of final receipt records, certificates or contracts completed in the last five (5) years, which support the sale of vehicles for an accumulated amount equal to or greater than the value of the bid submitted.

- Technical conformity: Attach brochures, catalogs or technical sheets that allow for comparison and verification of compliance with the specifications detailed in Section VI of the specifications.

- Brand endorsement and trajectory: Present the official certification of the manufacturer or authorized distributor, accompanied by a certificate that demonstrates a minimum of fifteen (15) years of operation and commercialization of the brand in the country.

- National preference: For this international contracting process, a margin of preference will be granted to contractors or associations of suppliers and contractors (APCA) of national origin.

- Guarantee of seriousness: All proposals must be accompanied by a declaration of maintenance of the offer.
