Acquisition of various equipment for the Medical Emergency System (SUME) of the MSPAS

Description

Guatemala has received financing from the Inter-American Development Bank to partially finance the cost of the Program for the Strengthening of the Institutional Health Services Network (PRORISS), and it is proposed to use part of the proceeds of this financing to make payments under the Contract detailed in the Request for Proposals. The Ministry of Public Health and Social Assistance invites eligible bidders to submit closed bids for the acquisition of miscellaneous equipment for the MSPAS's Emergency Medical System (SUME). The request for bid number is GU-L1163-P00079 (publication IDB-4791OCGU-P00079-SPN). The operation is GU-L1163 and the loan is 4791/OC-GU.

The process is a national public bidding process for goods, according to the Policies for the Acquisition of Works and Goods financed by the IDB, and is open to bidders from eligible countries according to the documents. It follows the general notice published on August 28, 2020 (IDB-P550524-08/20).

The qualification includes documentary review, financial and technical capacity, compliance with technical specifications and economic offer. No margin of preference is granted to national bidders. Best Final Bid (M.O.F.) will be applied. Bids must include a statement of bid maintenance. Electronic bids are not accepted. Late bids will be rejected. Opening is in person or online.
