Description
The Autonomous City of Buenos Aires has received funding from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) for the Digital Agenda project of the Buenos Aires Health System. The Ministry of Health of the City calls for eligible bidders for the acquisition of high-tech tomographs (32 and 64 sections). This investment is intended to strengthen the diagnostic capacity of the Argerich, Santojanni, Fernández, Durand, Penna and Piñero hospitals, ensuring state-of-the-art equipment for the public health network.
Scope of supply
The tender is under the Health sector and includes:
- Specialized equipment: Acquisition of 32 and 64-slice tomographs.
- Hospital destination: The equipment will be installed in six strategic public hospitals in the City (Argerich, Santojanni, Fernández, Durand, Penna and Piñero).
- Related services: The contract includes the supply, installation, configuration, commissioning and maintenance of the equipment.
Qualification and Process Requirements
The process is carried out through International Public Bidding (IPL), following the IDB's procurement policies. The key requirements are:
- Financial capacity: Presentation of the last three closed accounting years.
- Specific experience: Prove at least 3 satisfactory contracts in the last 5 years in health institutions, similar in nature and complexity.
- General experience: Minimum of 5 years in supply and maintenance of equivalent medical equipment.
- Bid Guarantee: A Bid Maintenance Guarantee is required depending on the lot ($20,000 for Lot 1 and $17,500 for Lot 2).
- Presentation: Bids must be delivered physically to the address indicated by the Ministry of Health. Electronic bids are not permitted.
- National Preference: No margin of preference will be granted to domestic contractors in this tender.
