Acquisition of office furniture and equipment for the UCP and dependencies of the Secretariat of Security

Honduras, through the Secretary of State in the Office of Security, has financing from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) for the "Program for the Comprehensive Modernization and Professionalization of the Services of the National Police of Honduras". This call for the National Public Tender (LPN) invites eligible bidders to submit closed proposals for the provision of furniture and maintenance services.

Scope of supply
Main objective: Acquisition of office furniture and equipment for the Programme Coordinating Unit (UCP) and various dependencies of the Secretariat of Security.

Batch structure:

Lot No. 1: Office furniture.

Lot No. 2: Maintenance service.

Qualification Requirements and Conditions
Regulatory framework and eligibility: National Public Bidding (LPN) conducted in accordance with the IDB's Policies for the Acquisition of Works and Goods, open to bidders from eligible countries of the Bank.

Accredited experience: Minimum four (4) years of experience in the supply and installation of goods of a similar nature.

Financial capacity: Accreditation of own resources, commercial credits, bank lines of credit or authorized guarantee lines for an amount equal to or greater than 50% of the total value offered.

Margin of preference: No margin of preference will be granted to national contractors or consortia (APCA).

Required Guarantee: It is mandatory to attach the Bid Maintenance Statement.

Management and submission of bids
Access to the bases: The bidding documents in Spanish are available for consultation and download on the institutional web portal of Honducompras, or by formal request via email to the Coordinating Unit.

Delivery modality: Physical delivery of proposals in a sealed envelope at the offices of the UCP-IDB (Secretary of State in the Office of Security, Aldea El Ocotal, Francisco Morazán). Electronic bids are not authorized. The opening will take place in a public event in person and online.
