Acquisition of mobile land patrols equipped for the SENAE Customs Surveillance Corps

Description

The Republic of Ecuador has received financing from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) for the Tax and Customs Administration Improvement Program. This call for International Public Bidding (LPI), executed by the National Customs Service of Ecuador (SENAE), invites eligible bidders to submit proposals for the provision of an operational and specialized vehicle fleet.

Scope of the offer
Supply of goods: Comprehensive procurement of fully equipped land mobile patrols to the required technical specifications.

Institutional destination: Operational strengthening of the SENAE Customs Surveillance Corps to optimize the tasks of control, inspection and combating smuggling in the national territory.

Qualification and participation requirements
Suitability criteria: The bidder must accredit and certify through the corresponding documentation the strict compliance with: (i) Solid Financial Capacity, (ii) Specific Experience in the provision of similar goods, and (iii) Technical Documentary Evidence that supports the quality and characteristics of the vehicles offered.

Award mechanism: In this contracting process, the Best Final Offer (M.O.F.) modality will be applied.

Margin of preference: For this selection process, a Margin of Preference will be granted in favor of contractors or national Producer/Supplier Associations (APCA).

Guarantee of seriousness: All technical and economic proposals must be accompanied by a Declaration of Maintenance of the Offer.
