Acquisition of Maneuvering Equipment and Personal and Collective Protective Equipment for TCT Work

Description

El Salvador, through the Lempa River Hydroelectric Executive Commission (CEL), has financing from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) to co-finance the "Universal Access to Energy Program in El Salvador". This call for National Public Bidding (LPN) invites eligible bidders to submit closed bids for the provision of specialized safety and electrical operation equipment.

Scope of supply
Main objective: Acquisition of manoeuvring equipment and personal and collective protective equipment specifically designed for Work with Tension (TCT).

Technical specifications: The detailed characteristics of the goods to be supplied are broken down in the technical body of the institution's bidding documents.

Qualification Requirements and Conditions
Process Guidelines: The tender will be conducted in accordance with the National Public Bidding procedures established in the Policies for the Acquisition of Works and Goods financed by the IDB, and is open to companies from all eligible countries of origin.

Evaluation criteria: The essential technical, commercial and financial qualification requirements are those explicitly defined in Section III of the call documents.

Margin of preference: No margin of economic or technical preference will be granted to local contractors or national APCA-type associations.

Access to the rules: The bidding documents can be consulted and downloaded in Spanish through the official procurement websites of the IDB and the CEL.

Guarantee of seriousness: All proposals submitted by bidders must be accompanied by a Declaration of Maintenance of the Bid.

Delivery method: Bids must be sent in a sealed envelope and in physical form to the address of CEL (San Salvador). For this particular process, electronic bids will not be allowed and any late application will be automatically rejected. The formal opening ceremony will have the option of face-to-face or virtual attendance.
