Acquisition of data science and computer contingency equipment for the Ministry of Energy

Description

The Argentine Republic has received financing from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) for the Program to Support the Transition to a Sustainable Electricity Sector in Argentina. Under this program, the Ministry of Economy's Energy Secretariat calls for eligible bidders for the provision of high-performance technological infrastructure. This acquisition is aimed at strengthening data analysis capabilities and ensuring the operational continuity of the critical systems of the Undersecretariat of Energy Efficiency and Information, fundamental pillars for the transition to a more sustainable electricity matrix.

Scope of supply
The tender is located in the Energy sector and includes the following components:

Advanced Computing Equipment: High-performance desktop (WS1 and WS2) and portable (MWS1) workstations for Data Science tasks.

Display Peripherals: 49-inch ultra-wide monitors and 4K monitors for developers.

Server Infrastructure: Hyperconverged nodes and management and hyperconvergence software.

Software and Services: Specialized licenses (Navicat Premium Enterprise) and a comprehensive technical support and maintenance service for hardware and software for a period of 36 months.

Qualification and Process Requirements
The process will be carried out through National Public Bidding (LPN), in accordance with the IDB's procurement policies (GN-2349-15). The highlighted requirements are:

Financial Capacity: Prove liquid assets or lines of credit and a minimum average annual turnover equivalent to one times the amount of the offer during the last three years.

Specific Experience: Demonstrate a proven track record in the sale and provision of technological equipment similar to the one requested.

Guarantee: Proposals must be accompanied by a Bid Maintenance Guarantee for a value equivalent to 1% of the total offered.

Presentation: Bids must be delivered physically to the headquarters of the Ministry of Economy in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires. Electronic bids will not be accepted.

National Preference: No margin of preference will be applied for national contractors or consortia.
