Acquisition of computer equipment and accessories for institutional strengthening

Description

The Republic of El Salvador, through the Ministry of Finance, has received financing from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) for the Shock-Responsive Social Protection program in El Salvador. This tender aims to acquire advanced computer equipment and technological accessories to strengthen the operational capacities of the participating institutions. The investment seeks to modernize the State's digital infrastructure to ensure a more agile and efficient response to emergency situations or social shocks, optimizing data processing and resource management.

Scope of supply
The supply is assigned to the Social Investments sector and includes the following goods:

- High-performance computing equipment: Acquisition of laptops and workstations for intensive processing tasks.

- Interactive technology: Provision of interactive screens to facilitate institutional coordination and data visualization.

- Peripherals and accessories: Provision of various computer components and complementary accessories for the operation of the systems.

- Warranty and support: Compliance with detailed technical specifications that ensure the durability and compatibility of the technological ecosystem.

Qualification Requirements
The bidding process will be conducted through the International Public Bidding (IPL) procedure, under the IDB's procurement policies (GN-2349-15):

- Specific experience: Bidders must accredit at least 3 contracts completed in the last 5 years for amounts equal to or greater than USD 50,000.00 in computer equipment and USD 20,000.00 in peripherals.

- Technical capacity: Mandatory presentation of brochures, catalogs and technical sheets that allow to verify compliance with the requirements of each item.

- Certifications: Manufacturer or Authorized Distributor Certification is required for leading brands (such as Dell, HP, Cisco, Lenovo, among others).

- Submission: Bids can be delivered physically in San Salvador or by electronic submission.
