Acquisition of automated pathology equipment for MINSAL care center

Description

The Republic of El Salvador has received financing from the Inter-American Development Bank for the Smart and Comprehensive Health Program and will use part of the funds to finance this contract. The operation is ES-L1160 and the loan agreement is 5874/OC-ES.

The Ministry of Health (MINSAL) invites eligible bidders to submit bids for the acquisition of automated pathology equipment, distributed in four lots: Lot 1, histopathology cassette printer, automated paraffin tissue inclusion system and semi-automatic microtome; Lot 2, histopathology sheet printer and automated staining and assembly equipment; Lot 3, gas extractor workstation; and Lot 4, automatic tissue processor.

The procurement will be carried out through International Public Bidding (IPL), in accordance with the Policies for the Acquisition of Works and Goods financed by the IDB. Bidders must prove an average annual turnover during 2023-2025 equivalent to at least the value of their bid, and submit at least two references per lot of similar supplies made during the last ten years.

No margin of preference will be granted to national contractors or APCAs. Bids must include a Bid Maintenance Statement and be submitted physically, without the possibility of electronic submission.
