Description
Ecuador, through the Ministry of Public Health, has financing from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) for the "Program to Support the Reduction of Child Malnutrition in Ecuador". This call for International Public Bidding (LPI) invites eligible bidders to submit closed proposals for the provision of communication and educational inputs.
Scope of supply
Main objective: Acquisition and delivery of complementary edu-communicational material (Phase II) for educational sessions, counseling and community activities of citizen participation of the Ministry of Public Health.
Qualification Requirements and Conditions
Regulatory framework: The process is governed by the International Public Bidding (IPL) procedures provided for in the IDB's Policies for the Acquisition of Works and Goods.
Evaluation criteria: Verification of the bidder's experience, evaluation of financial ratios and full compliance with the documentation requested in the specifications.
Margin of preference: No margin of economic preference will be granted to national contractors or consortia (APCA).
Required guarantee: It is mandatory to attach the Bid Maintenance Statement to the proposal.
Management and submission of bids
Access to the bases: The bidding documents in Spanish are available for direct download on the institutional web portal of the Ministry of Public Health.
Delivery modality: Proposals must be delivered physically and in a sealed envelope to the IDB Project office (Government Platform for Social Development in Quito). Electronic bids will not be allowed. The public opening ceremony will be held with the option of attending in person or online.
